Ski-jumping - as a lay person? Don't worry, you won't be jumping from the ski-jumps the pros use. But they will be watching you! It is incredibly fascinating to sit at a height of 20 meters on the original take-off board with original skis and look down into the depths. This is enough to make anyone catch their breath for a moment, that's for sure! In the Oberstdorf ski arena, there is a small beginners' ski-jump, along with the two big ones. Trainee pros train here - from the age of 7! If you and your colleagues ski (that's the precondition), you can take your first jump here. You can "fly" five or six meters from here. This is bound to be a very special highlight!

• We start out from the hotel by shuttle for the Erdinger WM-Arena in Oberstdorf. The massive ski-jumps are already recognisable from a distance. Every New Year, the pros start the prelude to the Four Hills Tournament in this location!
• First of all, we inspect the big ski-jump with a former ski-jumper. (Here, you have a choice. You can venture onto the ski-jump with your skis in the authentic outfit or you might prefer to wear normal ski clothing). By lift, it takes over 20 minutes to get to the top. Sitting on the take-off board, which is otherwise reserved exclusively for pros, and looking at the unimaginably long way down, the first thrill of the day is guaranteed!
• Along with the big professional ski-jumps, there is also a small one, where the up-and-coming ski-jumpers train. This is where we will fly from today!
• But first of all, you need some training to get the right posture, the right take-off and the right skiing technique. Through professional instruction from the former pros, you will quickly feel more confident!
• And now the time has come: who is brave enough to be the first to jump? Even on the small practice ski-jump, you manage approximately 4 to 6 impressive metres. The sense of achievement afterwards is, naturally, more than overwhelming. And who can claim to have already tried ski-jumping in Oberstdorf?
