THE CALL
OF THE
MOUNTAIN

Climbing

Climbing actually looks much harder than it is! Even absolute beginners, who don't frequent the gym three times a week, can cope with less challenging climbing routes. And little compares with the feeling you get when you reach the top for the first time! The mutual support of colleagues makes a day on the rock a very special team experience. To start with, the mountain guide gives an introduction, clarifying the equipment and showing you what you need to watch out for. After a few tips on how to conserve your energy while climbing, you are good to go!

Details

  • Your mountain guide meets you at the hotel. After a warm welcome, the climbing equipment for the day's tour is handed out. You can simply pack away the climbing harness, helmet and climbing boots in your rucksack, and then you are good to go!
  • We kick off with a short shuttle ride to the mountain, so that it doesn't take too long to get to the rock.
  • Once you have arrived there, you usually have to walk a short way to the foot of the climbing rock. The rock walls are always also suitable for total newbies, obviously! Even if they are vertical rock walls, on the really simple routes there are all manner of grip and stepping options. Actually, at the start it is really no more difficult than climbing a high ladder ...
  • When we have arrived at out "standpoint", your mountain guide explains how to put on your climbing harness properly. Then groups are formed, you are roped into the team and a partner secures you - always under the instruction of your mountain guide, obviously.
  • And you will see that there is little to compare with the fantastic feeling when you have climbed an entire route for the first time and reached the very top. It is simply breathtaking!
