There are many reasons why a team does not rise up to its full performance level:

The staff group was reshuffled, processes and challenges have changed, new management has taken over. Or the market position means that a rethink in the direction of higher outputs for the team is urgently needed.

Maybe there is a problem in collaborating because team members are not coming from the same place emotionally. Ultimately, "virtual teams" frequently lack the we-feeling because staff are unknown to each other solely due to not being in the same place.
